It’s a workout designed by women, made for women. Booty Boot Camp tones the most challenging of areas, and offers a high-intensity workout that targets the abdominals, glutes and thighs. The 30-minute session will help tone the lower body, reducing body fat whilst boosting cardiovascular health. At the same time, participants will gain lean muscle, improved flexibility and movement. Due to the dynamic movements, all core muscles are targeted.
Classes also combine strength training and HITT workouts that work the abs, obliques and lower back muscles, building additional muscle and defining the legs. The exercises are designed to tone the legs, hips and glutes. Individuals can burn up to 300 calories in 30 minutes. HITT (high-intensity interval training) workouts are highly effective ways of getting results fast in a short period of time. It is a technique that demands maximum effort during short bursts of high-intensity exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, rest periods. HITT workouts keep the heart rate elevated, burning fat and increasing the metabolism.
No specialist equipment is needed and the exercises can be done almost anywhere. Thanyapura’s Booty Boot Camp is suitable for beginners as well as more seasoned athletes, and the instructor will help modify exercises if they are unsuitable for some guests. Remember that exercising with a friend is more fun, and has been shown to increase the liklihood of sticking to a routine, so bring a partner and help to push one another towards a more toned you!
